HopDrop kit 2" – dry hopping under pressure without oxygen
The HopDrop kit from Brewtools contains the parts you need to dry hop and add other ingredients to fermenters under pressure, without letting oxygen into the tank. The tank keeps its pressure, and oxygen does not spoil the hop aroma.
The kit fits Brewtools' pressure fermentation kit for MiniUni.

Frequently asked questions about the HopDrop kit 2"
How does a hop dropper work?
The hops go into the tube above the closed butterfly valve. Using the gas fitting and the relief valve, you purge the air with CO2 and pressurise the tube. When you open the valve, the hops drop into the beer without any oxygen getting in.
Why dry hop under pressure?
If you release the pressure to open the tank, you have to watch out for both oxygen and foaming. With a hop dropper the tank can stay under pressure the whole time.
What does the 2" kit fit?
It fits the Brewtools pressure fermentation kit for MiniUni. If your tank has a 4" Tri-Clamp opening, there is the HopDrop Kit 4".
Can I add other things than hops?
Yes. The kit is made for dry hopping and for adding other ingredients to the tank under pressure.
