Tri-Clamp fittings for homebrewing – clamps, gaskets and adapters
Tri-Clamp, also called Tri-Clover or TC, is a fitting type in which two ferrules are pressed together around a gasket with a clamp. Here you will find Tri-Clamp fittings for homebrewers and small brewing setups: clamps in 34 mm, 1.5", 2" and 3", gaskets up to 4", hose barbs, adapters to NPT and BSP, elbows, valves, sight glasses and thermowells. The Brumetal parts are made from 304 stainless steel.
34 mm, also called mini Tri-Clamp, is used on equipment from Brewtools among others. The 34 mm clamp, gaskets, elbows, Gardena adapter and gas ball lock adapter come in this size.
2" and 3" are available as clamps, gaskets, sight glasses and reducers down to 1.5".
Tube diameter: the same 1.5" ferrule is found on both 19 mm and 38 mm tube. Elbows and tees are marked with the tube diameter, so check that it matches the rest of your setup.
Clamp, gasket and ferrule must always be the same size. Between sizes you use reducers, such as 2" to 1.5" or 34 mm to 1.5".

Frequently asked questions about Tri-Clamp fittings
What is the difference between Tri-Clamp, Tri-Clover and TC?
They are the same fitting type under different names. Two ferrules with a gasket between them are held together by a clamp, without threads, so the joint is quick to take apart and easy to clean.
Which Tri-Clamp gasket should I choose?
Gaskets come in silicone and EPDM. The 1.5" silicone gasket is rated for −50 °C to 200 °C and suits hot wort. The gasket must be the same size as the ferrule.
Do 34 mm and 1.5" Tri-Clamp fit together?
No. 34 mm and 1.5" have different ferrules, and you need a 34 mm to 1.5" Tri-Clamp reducer to connect them.
Can I connect Tri-Clamp to threaded parts?
Yes. There are adapters from 1.5" Tri-Clamp to NPT, FPT and BSP, and adapters from DIN 11851 dairy fittings.
