PuckerButt Pepper Company – home of the world's hottest chili
Behind PuckerButt is Smokin' Ed Currie, the man who has written himself into chili history as the creator of both the Carolina Reaper® and Pepper X®. Both have held the Guinness World Record for the world's hottest chili, and in 2023 Pepper X took the throne with an extreme 2.69 million Scoville Heat Units.
PuckerButt cultivates and processes the chilies on its own farm in the USA with uncompromising quality control. This is not about artificial extracts, but about natural strength and authentic taste. Kyrres Krutt was created by Kyrre, who started his journey in 2018 by growing chilies on his balcony in Bjølsen. What began as a small project quickly developed into a passion for making fresh, balanced chili sauces with just the right kick. Today, every sauce is produced from scratch in the production facility at Essa in Ljan – from fresh fruit and chili to the finished bottled product. The result is hot sauces with distinct flavor profiles, carefully selected ingredients, and unique combinations.
