Wine Glasses from Stölzle Lausitz and Rastal – for red, white and sparkling wine
This is our range of wine glasses from German makers Stölzle Lausitz and Rastal: glasses for red wine, white wine, burgundy, bordeaux and champagne in the STARlight, Fino, Experience, POWER and QUATROPHIL series, the mouth-blown Q1 series, and the versatile Exilles glass from Rastal. The wine glasses are sold in boxes of six, except Q1, which is sold in pairs.
How to choose the right wine glass
Red wine: a large bowl lets the wine breathe and gives the aromas room. For full-bodied reds there are burgundy glasses of up to 820 ml and bordeaux glasses of 600–675 ml.
White wine: a smaller bowl keeps the wine cool for longer. The Fino White Wine holds 450 ml and the STARlight White Wine 410 ml.
Champagne and sparkling wine: tall, narrow glasses let the bubbles rise slowly. Choose between the 290 ml STARlight Champagne and the 425 ml Fino Champagne.
One glass for everything: the Rastal Exilles 57 is made for both white and red wine and is graduated to 0.5 litres.

STARlight – machine-made glass with a thin wall and slender stem, about ten per cent thinner than standard machine-made glasses. Dishwasher safe.
Fino – balanced shape and a thin rim, for red, white and champagne.
Q1 – mouth-blown and handmade, with a long, pulled stem and the widest part of the bowl set low.
Experience – modern shape, for full-bodied reds and fresh whites.
POWER – a purist shape with a large surface that lets the wine breathe.
Exilles – a versatile wine glass from Rastal, developed with sommeliers from the Italian sommelier association ASPI.
Frequently asked questions about wine glasses
What is the difference between red and white wine glasses?
Red wine glasses have a larger bowl, which gives the wine more air and room for its aromas. White wine glasses are smaller, so the wine stays cool for longer. In the STARlight series the red wine glass holds 510 ml and the white wine glass 410 ml.
What is a mouth-blown wine glass?
A mouth-blown glass is shaped by hand by a glassblower. The Q1 series from Stölzle Lausitz is mouth-blown, which gives thin glass and a long, fine stem. STARlight is machine-made but has a thinner wall and stem than standard machine-made glasses.
Are the wine glasses dishwasher safe?
The STARlight glasses are dishwasher safe according to the maker. For the other series, check the product page before putting the glasses in the dishwasher.
Which wine glass works for both red and white wine?
The Rastal Exilles 57 is designed as a multi-purpose glass for both white and red wine. It holds 56.2 cl in total, is graduated to 0.5 litres and suits everything from wine tastings to everyday use.
