DMfit push-fit fittings – food-grade connectors for beer and CO2
DMfit makes plastic push-fit connectors for beer lines, CO2 and drinking water. The fittings are food-grade and produced to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Here you will find adapters to ball lock and 5/8" BSP, reducers for anti-foam line, bulkheads, shut-off valves, a flow control valve and filters in inch sizes.
How to choose a DMfit fitting
The size refers to the tubing's outside diameter. DMfit fittings are in inch sizes such as 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2", and fit LLDPE tubing of the same size.
The flow control valve handles up to 10 bar at 1–20 °C and 4 bar at 65 °C. The 3/8" bulkhead is used on the beer inlet of Lindr machines, among others, and the Power fittings are used on the cooling coils in the Lindr AS-110. «Power» means the fitting can be tightened around the tubing.
DMfit in kegerators and line kits
The KegMaster XL from Keg King comes with DMfit fittings, and Keg King states that they are compatible with John Guest. The Quick Fix anti-foam line kit also uses a DMfit adapter and reducer. Take care with Star San and other acid-based products on plastic fittings, and rinse after sanitising.
Frequently asked questions about DMfit
Is DMfit compatible with John Guest?
Yes, in the same inch sizes. You can use DMfit fittings on John Guest tubing and vice versa, and mix fittings from both in the same line.
Which DMfit fitting do I need for 3/16" anti-foam line?
From a 3/8" line, use the 3/8" – 3/16" reducer, and from 5/16", use the 5/16" – 3/16" reducer. The 1/4" – 3/16" union connector joins 3/16" tubing to 1/4".
What is a DMfit Power fitting?
A Power fitting has a nut that can be tightened around the tubing, so the fitting grips harder. The DMfit Power Union Connector 3/8" x 5/16" is used on the Lindr AS-110, among others.
