Komali Corn Tortillas 12 cm are authentic Mexican corn tortillas made with nixtamalized corn. Their small size makes them perfect for tacos, tostadas, small quesadillas, and other classic Mexican dishes.
Nixtamalization is a traditional Mexican process that gives corn a better taste, aroma, and nutritional value. Among other things, the process contributes to increased availability of minerals such as calcium, and gives the tortillas the characteristic taste and consistency associated with authentic corn tortillas.
Komali Tortillas was started with the desire to make authentic Mexican tortillas available to European homes and restaurants. The tortillas are produced in Hamburg with Mexican ingredients, and are made to provide the taste of authentic Mexican street food.
