Tilt Pro Hydrometer & Thermometer
The Tilt Pro is designed for high performance in larger stainless steel fermentation tanks. With 3 times the volume and weight of the original Tilt, the Tilt Pro's size allows the battery life to more than double. Pre-installed Energizer® AA lithium batteries keep the Tilt Pro running for 3 to 5 years depending on use. So much time that you might forget your Tilt is actually running on a battery!
The extra size and weight come with an added bonus: improved Specific Gravity stability at high krausen, so you will see a more consistent reading on your iPhone, Android or Raspberry Pi. In addition, the range has been increased with a high-gain antenna which in testing increased the range by 20% compared to the original Tilt. Now you can see your Tilt through thicker foam heads and stronger steel walls. To top this off, you get higher resolution when reading both Specific Gravity (1.0000) and temperature. All in all, several adjustments have been made that we believe the professional brewer (and serious homebrewer) will certainly appreciate.
The Tilt Pro has 100% of its logic built into the unit itself, and does not rely on data having to be uploaded to a cloud-based server to function.
