Description
Apollo 60L Snub Nose Fermentation Tank
With the Apollo (Fermenter King) 60L Snub Nose, you elevate your fermentation to a higher level than with any other closed-bottom PET fermenter. This great fermentation tank gives you the opportunity to:
- Ferment under pressure. You need a Spunding Valve to control the fermentation pressure, normally 0.7 - 1 bar.
- Dry hop sanitarily - Use the dry hop port in the lid
- Carbonate the beer in the fermentation tank - pressure rated for use up to 2.4 bar and pressure tested up to 5 bar
- Monitor the internal temperature with the integrated thermowell for accurate temperature readings
- Tap directly from the tank - Connect a tap and use the Apollo as a keg
- Transfer oxygen-free to a keg in a closed system
- For fermentation without pressure, you can use one ball lock valve for blow-off, or insert an airlock into the port for the pressure relief valve.
