Grainfather Glycol Chiller Adapter Kit (GCA)
Temperature control is one of the most critical (and often underestimated) factors in producing a high-quality beer.
The Grainfather Glycol Chiller Adapter Kit (GCA) is designed to extend the functionality of the Grainfather Glycol Chiller, by allowing almost any fermenter on the market to be connected to and temperature-controlled by the Grainfather Glycol Chiller – including most plastic buckets!
The GCA works similarly to the Grainfather Conical Fermenter Pro, but instead of the built-in cooling jacket and heating element, it uses a stainless steel cooling coil and a heating pad to control the temperature of the fermenter.
The cooling coil is connected to the Glycol Chiller and immersed in the fermenter. The heating pad attaches to the outside of the fermenter. A temperature sensor is also attached to the fermenter, and the GCA will then regulate cooling or heating as needed.
The GCA connects to the Grainfather App so you can control your fermentation temperature on the go.
