Grainfather Glycol Chiller Adapter Kit (GCA) – temperature control for most fermenters
Temperature control is one of the most important, and most underrated, factors in making good beer. The Grainfather Glycol Chiller Adapter Kit (GCA) extends the Grainfather Glycol Chiller, so most fermenters can be connected to and temperature-controlled by the glycol chiller, including most plastic buckets.
The GCA works the same way as the Grainfather Conical Fermenter Pro. Instead of a built-in cooling jacket and heating element, it uses a stainless steel cooling coil and a heat pad. The cooling coil connects to the glycol chiller and is immersed in the fermenter. The heat pad attaches to the outside of the fermenter, together with a temperature sensor. The GCA then controls cooling or heating as needed.
The GCA connects to the Grainfather app, so you can monitor and control fermentation temperature from your phone.
