The Quick Connect Kit is a set of sturdy, leak-free stainless steel quick disconnects for the Grainfather. The kit makes it easy to connect and disconnect the recirculation arm and the counterflow chiller, instead of screwing them on and off during brewing and cleaning. It saves time and makes brew day easier.
How to fit the kit
- Compression nut: fits on the recirculation arm. The arm is first cut with a hacksaw so the compression nut can be fitted.
- Quick disconnect male – M18x1.5: screw into the compression nut until the nut is firmly seated on the recirculation arm.
- Adapter from 3/8" to 1/2": mounts on the ball valve on the recirculation pipe.
- Quick disconnect female – 1/2" FPT: connects to the adapter in step 3.
- Quick disconnect male – 1/2" barb: fits on the hose to the counterflow chiller.
