Sincera Sistemi Bottle Wax 100 g – black wax for sealing bottles

Black bottle wax from the Italian producer Sincera Sistemi, for sealing the cork and giving bottles of wine, beer, cider or spirits an exclusive finish. The wax is soft and even, easy to apply and cuts cleanly with a knife when the bottle is opened, without crumbling or cracking.

The wax has a low working temperature and gives off no smell or fumes. It can be melted several times without losing quality, and wax that has been cut off can be reused. The colour holds over time, also in the fridge.

With a consumption of about 5–7 grams per bottle, 100 grams is enough for about 15–20 bottles. If you dip deeper or want a thicker layer, you will use more wax per bottle.

At what temperature should the wax be melted?

Sincera Sistemi wax has a working temperature of 90–100 °C. Melt it in a suitable container and dip the bottle neck once the wax is fully liquid.

Can the bottle wax be reused?

Yes. The wax can be melted several times without losing quality, and wax cut off when a bottle is opened can be remelted and used again.
