Frequently asked questions about V18 filter sheets

Which filters do the sheets fit?

Grifo plate filters for 20 × 20 cm sheets, such as FCH10 Hobby, FCP10T and FCP20.

How many sheets do I need?

That depends on the filter. FCH10 and FCP10T take 10 sheets, FCP20 takes 20. A pack of 25 sheets covers two runs in a 10-sheet filter.

When should I choose V18?

V18 gives fine filtration at 1 micron. For an even clearer result, V24 at 0.5 micron is available. If the wine is very cloudy, it can pay to filter with a coarser sheet first.
