1.5" Tri-Clamp PRV Extension Tube – extension tube with 2.4 bar pressure relief valve
The 1.5" Tri-Clamp PRV Extension Tube is a short extension tube with a Tri-Clamp connection and a built-in pressure relief valve (PRV). The valve releases pressure when it exceeds 2.4 bar (35 psi). It fits a 1.5" Tri-Clamp port on pressure tanks, fermenters and other equipment where you want protection against excessive pressure.
The tube is made by Brumetal, Brewshop's own brand, in 304 stainless steel.

What do I need to fit it?
A 1.5" Tri-Clamp clamp and a 1.5" Tri-Clamp gasket. The tube is fitted to a free 1.5" Tri-Clamp port on the tank.
Can I control fermentation pressure with this valve?
No. This is a safety valve with a fixed opening pressure. To hold a set pressure during pressure fermentation, use an adjustable spunding valve.
