Grainfather Wortometer – in-line thermowell for wort chilling

The Grainfather Wortometer is an in-line thermowell fitted to the outlet of the counterflow chiller. The temperature probe from the Grainfather Connect Control Box goes into the thermowell, so you can read the wort temperature on the control box display while you chill. This makes it easy to hit the right temperature before pitching the yeast.

Cleaning and sanitizing

We recommend PBW for cleaning, as PBW is gentle on soft metals. Sanitize the Wortometer at the end of the boil by recirculating hot wort through it for a few minutes before turning on the cooling water.
