PBW 450g cleaning agent for brewing equipment
PBW is a powerful alkaline, non-caustic, and environmentally friendly agent for cleaning brewing equipment, effectively removing organic matter/protein residues from brewing equipment, fermentation vessels, etc. Used by both breweries and homebrewers.
Safe to use on stainless steel, rubber, plastic, and soft metals such as copper, aluminum, and brass. Do not use on Teflon. Generates 4-5% oxygen.
Dosage, hot water:
- Normal cleaning: 7 - 14 g per liter of water
- For difficult dirt: 21 g per liter of water
Rinse after use. Then disinfect the equipment with a disinfectant, such as Star San.
