Always store the probe in electrolyte solution after use. The probe can be replaced when it is worn out (MA73600).

What pH should the mash have?
The ideal mash pH is 5.2–5.6. Measure a cooled sample of the mash and adjust with brewing salts or lactic acid.
How do I calibrate the pH54?
The pH54 has 1- or 2-point manual calibration. Use calibration solution (buffer), for example pH 7.01 and pH 4.01.
Is the pH meter waterproof?
It is IP65-certified. This means it withstands splashing water, but it should not be submerged.
Can I replace the probe?
Yes. The probe is replaceable (MA73600), so you do not need to buy a new instrument when it is worn.
