Ss Brewtech Whirlpool Fitting – whirlpool in your brew kettle
Whirlpool kit from Ss Brewtech in 304 stainless steel. It comes complete with a weldless 1" bulkhead with 1/2" NPT threads and fits the thermometer port on the kettle. If the kettle has no free port, you can drill a 22 mm (7/8") hole. Pumping wort in through the whirlpool fitting sets it spinning, so hop and protein debris collects in a cone in the centre of the kettle.

When the wort spins in the kettle after the boil, hop and protein debris gathers in a cone in the centre. This makes it easier to draw off clear wort from the side of the kettle.
