Description
Sparge Arm by Ss Brewtech – even and gentle sparging of the grain
The Sparge Arm by Ss Brewtech spreads the sparge water evenly over the grain bed during continuous sparging (fly sparge). The arm mounts on the handle of the Ss Brewtech Infusion Mash Tun, and also fits Project Brew kettles and other kettles with the same type of handle. Height and flow rate are adjustable for a calm, controlled sparge.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.

How to use the Sparge Arm
Ss Brewtech recommends recirculating the wort (vorlauf) until it runs clear, then adding sparge water as fast as the wort is drawn off, keeping about 2.5 cm of liquid above the grain bed. Place the nozzle 10–15 cm above the grain bed. Sparging can be done by gravity or with a small pump and flow control valve. A test run with water before your first brew is a good idea.
