The OxyWand 0.5 Micron – oxygenation stone on a 60 cm wand
The OxyWand is a 0.5 micron oxygenation stone mounted on a 60 cm stainless steel wand. It is used to add oxygen to the wort before pitching the yeast. The length of the wand makes it well suited for fermenting buckets, conical tanks and glass carboys. The stone unscrews easily from the wand for cleaning.

Cleaning and sanitising the stone
- run the stone in a sanitising solution for 5 minutes
- if the stone becomes clogged, boil it for 1–3 minutes to break down anything inside it
- if boiling is not an option, soak it in Star San. This removes most surface contamination and bacteria, but does not sanitise the interior of the stone
