Yeastlife Extra from Lallemand is a yeast nutrient that gives consistent and efficient fermentation, even under demanding conditions. It supports yeast growth and vitality by providing readily available nitrogen, essential amino acids, minerals, including zinc, and vitamins. The 2 kg pack suits breweries and homebrewers who brew a lot.

A balanced wort gives predictable results. With high extract and heavy use of adjuncts, nutrient deficiencies can easily occur. Yeastlife Extra helps reduce yeast stress, prevents slow or stuck fermentation, and reduces the formation of unwanted sulphur compounds and diacetyl.

How much Yeastlife Extra should I use?
The dosage is 4–6 g per hectolitre of wort. For 25 litres, that equals 1–1.5 g.
When is the nutrient added?
At the end of the boil, in the whirlpool or inline on the way to the fermenter.
Why use yeast nutrient?
Yeast nutrient gives the yeast what it needs to grow and finish fermenting. It reduces yeast stress, slow fermentation and off-flavours such as sulphur and diacetyl, especially with high extract and heavy use of adjuncts.
