Grifo PEW80 Hydropress 80 L – water-powered stainless steel fruit press
The PEW80 is the largest model in Grifo Marchetti's range of hydraulic fruit presses. It is designed for efficient, gentle cold pressing of fruit such as grapes, apples, pomegranates and berries, as well as some vegetables. With a capacity of 80 litres, it suits larger home production and small-scale professional use.
The press needs neither electricity nor muscle power, as it is driven by water pressure. A food-grade natural rubber membrane is filled with water and presses the fruit evenly against the inside of the basket. This gives a high juice yield while preserving flavour and aroma.
The included canvas filter stops fruit residue from clogging the drainage holes, and spills are directed into the included collection bag. The press is made mainly of stainless steel, while the lid and base are heavy-duty aluminium. A safety valve limits the pressure to a maximum of 3 bar.

Does the fruit press need electricity?
No. The PEW80 is driven by water pressure. The membrane is filled with tap water and presses the fruit against the basket.
What water pressure can the press handle?
A safety valve limits the pressure in the membrane to a maximum of 3 bar.
Does the fruit need to be crushed before pressing?
Yes. Apples and other hard fruit should be milled in a fruit mill before going into the press. That gives you the most juice.
What comes with the press?
