Lindheim Lords of Acid All-Grain Beer Kit
Lords of Acid was originally launched in collaboration between Lindheim, Lervig, and Edge Brewing Barcelona – a fruity and experimental Berlinerweisse brewed with yogurt and passionfruit. Now you have the opportunity to brew this classic at home – as an all-grain beer kit, developed in collaboration with Lindheim Ølkompani.
This beer is a refreshing and easy-drinking sour with balanced acidity and a distinct fruit character. The acidification is done with Sour Pitch from Lallemand – a pure culture of lactic acid bacteria that provides a controlled, pleasant acid profile. The beer is hopped with Hallertau Blanc, which adds delicate notes of white grape and stone fruit, and fermented with Verdant IPA, which gives a round, fruity aroma and taste. The beer is rounded off with 2kg of passionfruit puree, added during fermentation, which gives a fresh and fruity character.
About Lindheim Ølkompani:
Lindheim is located on a fruit farm in Gvarv, Telemark, surrounded by apple orchards and idyllic surroundings. The brewery is known for combining the farm's fruit and berries with modern and traditional brewing techniques, and has received international attention for its creative specialty beers and complex sours.
They use, among other things, a coolship – an open vessel for spontaneous fermentation – to create unique and local beers. In addition, Lindheim produces award-winning cider based on their own apples, and is currently one of Norway's most exciting producers in both beer and cider.
