Description

Mangrove Jack's Bavarian Wheat M20 – dry yeast for German wheat beer

Bavarian Wheat M20 from Mangrove Jack's is a dry yeast for German wheat beers such as Hefeweizen, Kristall Weizen and Dunkel Weizen. It gives a smooth, full-bodied beer with aromas of vanilla and banana and a lingering aftertaste. The yeast produces a silky mouthfeel and rich body.

Please note: This product is only available in Norway.

M20 has low flocculation. The yeast therefore stays in suspension, giving the hazy character that belongs in a classic Hefeweizen.

How to use M20

Sprinkle the contents directly onto up to 23 litres of wort. Ferment at 18–30 °C for best results. Store the yeast in the fridge.

At what temperature should M20 ferment?

M20 ferments at 18–30 °C. Keep the temperature stable throughout fermentation.

Why is the beer hazy?

Dry yeast stored cold keeps well beyond the best-before date.
