Brewolution beer kits – all-grain for 23–25 litres

Brewolution beer kits are all-grain kits with malt, hops, yeast, fining agent and a brewing guide for a 23–25 litre brew. Some kits also include sugar and spices. The series covers most beer styles, from pilsner, kölsch and hefeweizen to New England IPA, Belgian abbey ales, imperial stout and Christmas beer.

How to choose the right Brewolution kit

Without temperature control: Most ale kits ferment at 18–22 °C, as in a normal room.
With cooling: The lager kits URQ Pilsner, Fall of the Wall Oktoberfest, Bayern Bock and Sparkling Steel Dortmunder Export ferment at 9–16 °C.
Strong beers: Thunder Hopped Double IPA (9.2%), Blue Velvet of Chimay (9.3%) and Black Russian Roulette (10.2%) use 7.8–8.9 kg of malt.
Christmas beer: North Pole Breeze is spiced with orange and cinnamon, and Bad Santa with star anise and cardamom.

What is included

Each kit contains malt, hops, yeast, a fining agent (klarurt) and a brewing guide. Priming sugar is not included. The malt is supplied whole to stay fresh, and you can choose to have it crushed when you order.

How much beer does a Brewolution kit make?

All kits give 23–25 litres. The amount of malt varies with strength, from about 4 kg in the 4.2% Irish Oil to 8.9 kg in the 10.2% Black Russian Roulette.

What is klarurt?

Klarurt is the fining agent included in Brewolution kits, and it gives a clearer beer. The brewing guide tells you when to add it.

Is the malt in Brewolution kits crushed?

No, the malt is supplied whole to stay fresh. If you have a grain mill, crush it yourself just before brewing. Otherwise you can choose to have it crushed when you order.
