LUPOMAX – concentrated hop pellets from Yakima Valley Hops
LUPOMAX are concentrated hop pellets from Yakima Valley Hops with less vegetal matter than standard T-90 pellets. That means more flavour and aroma per gram, less hop trub and less beer loss. LUPOMAX can be used in the boil, in the whirlpool and for dry hopping, and you use about 70% of the amount you would use of standard pellets.
The varieties
LUPOMAX is made per variety and crop year. We have carried LUPOMAX in Citra, Amarillo and Cashmere, among others, in 100 g bags. Alpha acid and crop year are in the product name. If the variety you want is unavailable, Cryo Hops are the closest alternative, with concentrated lupulin in 25 g bags, for example Citra Cryo.
