Brewtools pro – brewing systems, Unitanks and Brite tanks for small breweries

Brewtools pro is the range from Norwegian brand Brewtools for small breweries, brew pubs and pilot plants. Here you will find the B100 and B180 brewing systems with separate mash tuns, the Unitank F100, F150 and F300 fermenters, the Brite 150 and 300 conditioning tanks and the Fresh Wort Brewery Kit. All tanks are rated for 2 bar.

How to build a small brewery with Brewtools

Batch size: The Brewtools B100 has 100 litres pre-boil. The Brewtools B180 brews 30–180 litre batches, takes up to 45 kg of malt and has a 10° conical bottom.
Power: The B100 has 6 kW and the B180 6.6 kW of heating. Both need two separate 230 V circuits.
More malt per brew: The B100 Mash Tun (110 litres, up to 38 kg malt) or B180 Mash Tun (198 litres, up to 65 kg malt) turns the machine into a two-vessel system, with no need to lift the malt pipe.
Fermentation: Choose a Unitank with at least the same working volume as your batch. The F100 Unitank has a recommended working volume of 90 litres, the F150 140 litres and the F300 up to 290 litres. The tanks are made from 1.5 mm stainless steel.
Conditioning and serving: The Brewtools Brite 150 and Brite 300 are used for conditioning, clarifying and carbonating, and are popular as serving tanks in brew pubs. The PureBlast surface needs no passivation.

Fresh Wort Brewery Kit

The Fresh Wort Brewery Kit is a starter set for making beer without your own brewhouse. You fill the tank with wort from fresh wort kits and add yeast and hops if you like. It contains two F150 Unitanks with spunding valves and thermowells, a Quantor MiniChilly 05 SB Compatible Black Edition glycol chiller and two Quantor SB Control Kits. The kit is made to order.

The Brewtools B25, B50, B100 and B180 have replaced the B40pro, B80pro and B150pro, which are out of production. Spare parts for the discontinued models are on the Brewtools brand page.

Frequently asked questions about Brewtools for breweries

What pressure can a Brewtools Unitank handle?

The Brewtools Unitank is rated for a working pressure of up to 2 bar (30 PSI), so you can pressure ferment, clarify and carbonate in the same tank. The Brite 150 and 300 are also rated for 2 bar.

What is the difference between a Unitank and a Brite tank?

The Unitank handles the whole process from fermentation to carbonation. The Brite is a conditioning tank for clarifying, carbonating and serving finished beer, with an integrated cooling jacket in the side wall.

How do I cool Brewtools tanks?

The tanks connect to a glycol chiller. Quantor chillers for several tanks are under Quantor pro, and the Fresh Wort Brewery Kit includes a chiller and temperature control.

Are the B100 and B180 for homebrewers or breweries?

Both are used by experienced homebrewers, brewing clubs, pilot breweries and small microbreweries. The B25 and B50 run on standard 230 V, suit homebrewing better and are under Brewtools brewing machines.
