Here you will find what you need to bottle homebrewed beer: 0.33, 0.5 and 0.75 litre beer bottles, PET bottles with screw caps, 2-litre growlers, 26 and 29 mm crown caps, bottle fillers, bottling buckets and cappers. Bottles come in boxes of 12 to 24, and caps in bags of 100 or 1,000. Breweries needing bottles by the full pallet will find them under beer bottles by the pallet.
How to bottle beer
Clean and sanitise bottles, caps and equipment. Chemicals and bottle rinsers are under cleaning.
Rack the beer into a bottling bucket with priming sugar. The sediment stays in the fermenter and the sugar mixes evenly. The 33-litre bucket has a tap, a bottle filler and a lid with a hole for an airlock.
Fill the bottles from the bottom with a bottle filler to avoid foaming. The Profiller from Fermtech stops when you lift it and fits 5/16" to 3/8" tubing.
Cap the bottles with a Grifo TC2T bench capper, the Enolandia Doc Revolution or the VIK Capper hand capper, which holds the cap in place with a magnet.
Growlers of 2 litres with swing-top: Classico and Palla.
Caps: 26 mm in many colours, oxygen-absorbing Oxycaps and 29 mm caps with oxygen scavenger.
If you package carbonated beer from a keg, the Blichmann BeerGun or the Tapcooler counter-pressure filler fills bottles from the bottom without losing carbonation.

Which cap size fits beer bottles?
The 0.33 and 0.5 litre longneck bottles take 26 mm caps. 29 mm is used on some other bottle types. The TC2T and the VIK Capper have cups for both sizes.
What are Oxycaps?
Oxycaps are 26 mm crown caps that absorb oxygen in the bottle. They are activated by moisture, so sanitise them just before bottling. Oxycaps were developed by Crown.
Do I need a bottling bucket?
It is not required, but a separate vessel for bottling gives clearer beer with less sediment than bottling straight from the fermenter, where hops and yeast remain.
Can I use PET bottles for beer?
Yes. The PET bottles are amber plastic with an oxygen barrier and close with a screw cap. Packs of 25 spare caps fit both Coopers and Handcraft Supplies PET bottles.
