With the Maltman from Sommer, Germany, the malt kernel is crushed to produce malt where the flour content is low and the husk largely remains intact. This provides an ideal preparation of the malt for the brewing process, while also ensuring good filtration and recycling.
Sommer malt mills are suitable for ambitious breweries with up to 3000 liters per brew.
