Brewery hoses – Brewflex, silicone, reinforced PVC, beer line and python
Here you will find hoses for breweries, bottlers and bars: Brewflex brewery hoses with 1.5" Tri-Clamp, silicone hose from 4 to 25 mm, PVC hose and reinforced PVC pressure hose, LDPE and LLDPE tubing for beer and CO2, and python lines for dispense systems. How to choose the right hose
Transfers between tanks:Brewflex brewery hose from Flextech Hose in England is rated to 16 bar and −40 to +120 °C. The white butyl rubber liner is odour-free and taste-neutral, and the hose handles alcohol up to 96 %. It comes in 2.5, 5 and 10 metres with 1.5" Tri-Clamp ends.
Hot wort and CIP: The silicone hoses from Deutsch & Neumann are rated up to +200 °C and come in 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 25 mm.
Liquids and CO2 under pressure: Reinforced PVC pressure hose comes from 6 to 38 mm bore. The test pressure depends on size, from 25 bar at 6 mm to 12 bar at 19 mm and 6 bar at 38 mm. PVC is rated up to 55–60 °C and suits cold liquids.
Beer and CO2 in dispense: LDPE and LLDPE tubing in 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" and 10 mm outside diameter fits push-fit fittings. 3/8" LDPE tubing comes in several colours so lines are easy to tell apart. Beer line with a 3 mm bore adds resistance and is used to cure foaming.
Chilled beer lines:Python lines from Tubing Food bundle beer lines (3/8") and two coolant lines (1/2") in a single bundle. They are available for 2, 4, 6 and 8 beer lines.

Frequently asked questions about brewery hoses
Which hose can handle hot wort?
Silicone hose is rated up to +200 °C and handles hot wort and hot cleaning water. Brewflex is rated up to +120 °C. PVC hose is rated to 55–60 °C and should only be used for cold liquids.
Which tubing is used for beer in a dispense system?
Push-fit fittings take rigid LDPE or LLDPE tubing, usually 5/16" or 3/8" outside diameter. If you get a lot of foam in the glass, a longer run of 3 mm bore beer line can add enough resistance.
