Tri-Clamp fittings for breweries – valves, pipe fittings and gaskets for tanks and lines

How to choose the right Tri-Clamp fittings for your brewery
Ferrule size: Clamp, gasket and ferrule must be the same size. Most parts here are 1.5". 34 mm, also called TC34 or mini Tri-Clamp, is used on Brewtools equipment among others. 2", 3" and 4" are available as clamps, gaskets, end caps, sight glasses and reducers down to 1.5".
Tube size: The same 1.5" ferrule is available on both 19 mm and 38 mm tube. Elbows, tees and extension tubes state the tube diameter, so check it matches your line.
Gasket material: Gaskets come in silicone and EPDM. The 1.5" silicone gasket is rated from −50 °C to 200 °C.
Adapting to other standards: For threaded connections there are adapters to NPT, BSP and FPT. For tanks and pumps with dairy fittings there are adapters from DIN 11851.
The range: from tank fittings to pipework
Valves: butterfly valves in 34 mm, 1.5" and 4", ball valves including three-way, sample valves, spunding valves for 0–2.2 bar and pressure/vacuum relief valves.
Tank fittings: thermowells in 10, 18 and 20 cm, a carbonation stone with check valve, rotating CIP spray balls, a dip tube and weldless bulkheads for fitting a Tri-Clamp ferrule to a tank or kettle.
Sight glasses and filters: sight glasses in 34 mm, 1.5", 2" and 3", and inline filters with screens from 50 to 600 mesh.
Pipe fittings: 45, 90 and 180 degree elbows, tees, crosses, extension tubes, end caps and reducers between 4", 3", 2", 1.5" and 34 mm.
Hose connections: hose barbs from 10 to 25 mm, plus adapters to Gardena and quick couplers.

Frequently asked questions about Tri-Clamp fittings
What is the difference between Tri-Clamp, Tri-Clover and TC?
They are the same type of connection. Two ferrules are pressed together around a gasket by a clamp, with no threads. Tri-Clamp and Tri-Clover were originally brand names, while TC and sanitary clamp are used as generic terms.
Does 34 mm Tri-Clamp fit 1.5"?
No. 34 mm and 1.5" have different ferrule diameters and need a reducer. We stock reducers from 34 mm to 1.5" Tri-Clamp in several lengths.
How do I know which Tri-Clamp size I need?
The size refers to the ferrule, not the tube. The same 1.5" ferrule is fitted to both 19 mm and 38 mm tube in our range, so check both ferrule size and tube diameter before ordering.
