PMG (Premium Machinery Group) builds brewhouses, fermenters and brite tanks for breweries. Brewshop is the authorised PMG distributor in Norway. Here you will find brewhouses of 500, 1500 and 3000 litres, insulated unitanks from 300 to 10,000 litres, brite tanks from 200 to 10,000 litres and CIP systems. Everything is made to order with price on request, and the tanks come with a 5-year warranty.

How to choose PMG tanks

Unitank or brite: The unitank is a conical tank for fermentation, carbonation and serving. The brite tank is for conditioning, maturation, carbonation and serving of finished beer.
Pressure: The unitanks are rated to 3 bar with a 2 bar working pressure. The cooling jacket is rated to 6 bar.
Insulation and cooling: The unitanks have 80 mm PU insulation and cooling jackets on both cone and shell. The brite tanks have 50 mm insulation and are available with or without a cooling jacket.
Size: The PMG 1000L Unitank has a total volume of 1300 litres, is 2560 mm tall and 1210 mm in diameter. The PMG 300L Unitank is 1978 mm tall and weighs 180 kg.

PMG brewhouses and CIP

PMG brewhouses are built from 100 to more than 20,000 litres in 2, 3 or 4-vessel configurations. A 2-vessel set-up has mash/lauter tun and kettle/whirlpool, while 4 vessels give a separate mash tun, lauter tun, kettle and whirlpool. The PMG CIP system has a heating element and pump and comes with 1, 2 or 3 tanks of 50–200 litres.

Frequently asked questions about PMG

How long is the warranty on PMG tanks?

PMG unitanks and brite tanks come with a 5-year warranty. The tanks are made from passivated stainless steel, mirror-polished inside and have lifting lugs for a crane.

What comes with a PMG brite tank?

The brite tank comes complete with a pressure relief valve (PRV), CIP spray ball and arm, carbonation port, sample valve, thermowell and adjustable legs, with or without a cooling jacket. The unitanks have a 60° cone.

Can I get other sizes and set-ups?

Yes. PMG supplies pressure tanks from 200 to 20,000 litres, horizontal serving tanks, open tanks and brewhouses of more than 20,000 litres. Contact us for a quote on a custom set-up.
