No. Most beer bottles have a 26 mm neck and need 26 mm caps. 29 mm caps are for bottles with a 29 mm neck.
What do I need to fit the caps?
A capper with a 29 mm bell, such as the Grifo TC2T bench capper, which has bells for both 26 and 29 mm.
Should the caps be sanitized?
Yes. Sanitize the caps before bottling, just like the bottles and the rest of the equipment.
