Frequently asked questions about the Brewtools MiniUni 40
Can I ferment under pressure in the MiniUni 40?
Yes, with the optional pressure fermentation kit. The tank is rated for 2 bar. A typical pressure for pressure fermentation is 0.7–1 bar.
How much can I ferment in the tank?
The maximum recommended volume is 40 litres. Leave enough headspace for foam during fermentation.
Does the MiniUni 40 have a cooling jacket?
No, the standard version has no cooling jacket. Temperature is therefore controlled from outside, for example in a fridge or fermentation chamber.
How do I clean the tank?
The large 4" TC port on top and the 2" TC port at the bottom make the tank easy to clean. The PureBlast surface needs no wax, polishing or passivation.
