Fermenter King Junior 10L – pressure fermenter and keg in one
The Fermenter King Junior 10L from Keg King in Australia is a small, affordable pressure fermenter that can also be used as a keg or growler on the go. It is made from the same PET material as the tanks in the Apollo series, and Keg King produces it in Springvale, Australia, using advanced PET technology and blow moulding.
Two Fermenter King Juniors are a great way to split a batch, with up to 8 litres of wort per tank. You can, for example, test two different yeasts, fruit purées or other additions side by side.

An adjustable spunding valve, such as Keg King's Spundy, is needed to control the pressure in the tank during pressure fermentation.
Important: The tank must not be exposed to liquid above 50 °C. This can soften and deform the tank.

Frequently asked questions about the Fermenter King Junior 10L
How much wort can I ferment in the tank?
Up to 8 litres of wort per tank. That leaves room for foam and krausen during fermentation.
What do I need to ferment under pressure?
You need an adjustable spunding valve, such as the Spundy, to release excess pressure. A typical fermentation pressure is 0.7–1 bar, and many brewers let the first couple of days run without pressure.
Can I serve beer straight from the tank?
Yes. The lid has ball lock valves for beer and CO2, and the floating dip tube draws beer from the top. The tank can therefore be used as a keg or growler.
Can the tank handle hot water?
No. The tank must not be exposed to liquid above 50 °C, whether filling or cleaning.
