Description
Solenoid valve TC34 mm, NC, 24 V DC – from Brewtools
A stainless steel solenoid valve from Brewtools, designed for glycol, water and air/CO2. The valve has 34 mm Tri-Clamp ports at both ends, which gives great flexibility in your setup. It is normally closed (NC), meaning it is shut without power and opens when the coil receives 24 V DC. It can, for example, be used to control glycol or cooling water to a fermenter.

Frequently asked questions about the Brewtools TC34 mm solenoid valve
What does NC mean on a solenoid valve?
NC stands for normally closed. The valve is shut when the coil has no power and opens when it receives 24 V DC.
Can I plug the valve straight into a wall socket?
No. The coil runs on 24 V DC and 10 W, so it needs a 24 V DC power supply or controller. The coil has a DIN 43650 type A connection, and the DIN plug is not included.
What pressure can the valve handle?
The valve is rated for max 3 bar (43 PSI).
What can the valve be used for?
It is designed for glycol, water and air/CO2, for example to control coolant to a tank.
