Description
Mangrove Jack's carbonation drops – easy bottle carbonation
Carbonation drops from Mangrove Jack's make it easy to carbonate homebrewed beer in bottles. No need to weigh and dissolve sugar: put the drops in the bottle, fill with beer and cap it. The drops replace the priming sugar you would otherwise use. The bag contains 60 drops (200 g).
Dosage
- 1 drop per 350 ml bottle
- 2 drops per 750 ml bottle
- 3 drops per 1.25 L bottle
- 4 drops per 2 L bottle
The drops are especially well suited to 500 ml bottles, with 1 drop per bottle.
How to use carbonation drops
Use disposable gloves (preferably sanitized) or sanitized tongs so you do not transfer bacteria from your fingers. Put the right number of drops in each clean, sanitized bottle, fill with beer and cap it. Leave the bottles at room temperature for about two weeks, then chill them.
