Can seamer FAQ

Which can seamer suits homebrewing?

The BenchMK and SL1 are made for homebrewers. The BenchMK costs less because your own drill is the motor. The SL1 comes with adapters for three can sizes.

Which cans and lids can I use?

You need an adapter for each can size, and the chuck must match the lid. Brewshop stocks adapters for 250, 330, 440 and 500 ml, and chucks for 202 CDL and Crown 202 SuperEnd/360end lids.

How do I check the seam?

Open a sealed can with the Tear-Down Tool and measure the seam with a digital caliper. Check regularly, especially when you change can size or lid type.

Where do I find cans and lids?

Beer cans in 330, 440 and 500 ml and 202 CDL lids are listed under canning. Breweries in Norway will find larger packs under beer cans in the professional range.
