What are TC caps used for?
They cover unused Tri-Clamp ports to keep dirt out, and protect the ferrule when equipment is in storage.
Do they replace a blanking cap with a clamp?
Not when the tank is under pressure. For pressurised ports, use a Tri-Clamp blanking cap with a gasket and clamp.
