1" to 3/4" reducing hex nipple, NPT – stainless steel adapter
Reducing hex nipple from 1" to 3/4" with NPT threads, made from 304 stainless steel. The nipple has male threads on both ends and is used to join two parts with different thread sizes, for example on the outlet of a Chugger pump.

Do NPT threads fit BSP?
No. NPT is the American standard and BSP the British one, and the threads have different profiles. They do not seal properly against each other, so use parts of the same standard.
Do I need thread tape?
NPT threads are tapered and seal on the threads. Use PTFE tape or a food-safe thread sealant.
