Which hops give Apocalyptic Thunder Juice its flavour?
The beer is built on a generous dose of Mosaic, giving aromas of tropical fruit, berries and resin. After fermentation, dry hopping and packaging remain. Follow the instructions included with the kit.
Do I need to add water to the wort?
No, water should never be added. The kit contains 20 litres of ready-brewed, water-adjusted wort. Pour the wort into your fermenter and add the yeast that comes with the kit.
How long and at what temperature should the beer ferment?
The recommended fermentation is 14 days at 20 °C. The kit comes with 2 x SafAle S-04 dry yeast and instructions.
How strong will the beer be?
With an OG of 1.062 and an FG of ~1.014, the beer will be 6.5% ABV. Bitterness is 16 IBU and the colour is 7.1 EBC.
How much beer does one kit make?
20 litres of wort is roughly 60 bottles of 0.33 L or 40 bottles of 0.5 L.
