Apollo 30L Unitank

Keg King manufactures their tanks in Springvale, Australia (not China!) using advanced PET technology and blow molding machines, to offer a premium product with high safety. All tanks are pressure tested at 5 bar before leaving the factory and can withstand up to 8 bar.

The Apollo 30L Unitank is easy to use and allows you, as a homebrewer, to ferment, harvest yeast, clarify the beer, and carbonate in one single tank, as well as transfer to kegs, bottles, or cans - without unnecessary oxygen exposure. You can also serve fully fermented and carbonated beer directly from the tank.

The Apollo comes complete with equipment for fermentation and pressure transfer (max 2.4 bar), including safety valves for pressure fermentation at 0.7 and 1 bar. You can also ferment in the usual way without pressure using an airlock or blow-off tube.

With this excellent fermentation tank, you have the opportunity to:

• Ferment under pressure. The tank is pressure-rated for use up to 2.4 bar and pressure tested up to 5 bar.
• Dry hop sanitarily via the dry hopping port in the lid.
• Carbonate the beer in the fermentation tank.
• Centered thermowell allows you to monitor fermentation temperature - in the middle of the beer, where it counts!
• Dump and/or harvest yeast via the bottom valve. The new "Plunger Valve" made of 304 stainless steel replaces the old butterfly valve for dumping yeast and hops. This valve is more sanitary, easy to use, and does not get stuck as a plastic butterfly valve can tend to do.
• Tap directly from the tank - Connect a tap and use the Apollo as a keg, via a centered floating dip tube with a filter.
• Transfer oxygen-free in a closed system, via a centered floating dip tube with a filter.
• Possibility for temperature-controlled fermentation using additional equipment such as a cooling coil and cooling unit (not included).
• For fermentation without pressure, you can, for example, use one of the ball lock valves for a blow-off tube, or place an airlock in the port for the overpressure valve.

We recommend lubricating gaskets with Keg Lube.

IMPORTANT! The tank must not be exposed to hot liquid above 50°C. It can soften and deform the tank.
