CO2 picnic regulator with gauge – for 16 g CO2 cartridges
A compact CO2 regulator with a pressure gauge for threaded 16 g CO2 cartridges, also known as a picnic adapter. You set the pressure easily and precisely between 0 and 30 PSI (0–2 bar). The regulator is solidly built and is ideal when you want to bring your Cornelius keg or growler on a trip, to the cabin or to a party.
The regulator has FFL threads for mounting on a threaded ball lock CO2 disconnect.

Frequently asked questions about the CO2 picnic regulator
Which CO2 cartridges fit?
The regulator is made for threaded 16 g CO2 cartridges. Cartridges without threads do not fit.
How do I connect the regulator to the keg?
Screw the regulator onto a threaded ball lock CO2 disconnect and click the disconnect onto the gas post of the Cornelius keg.
What pressure should I use for serving?
Around 0.8 bar works on most setups. Turn it down if the beer foams too much.
Can I carbonate the beer with the regulator?
It is possible, but carbonating uses a lot of CO2, so 16 g cartridges are best suited to serving. A simple method for force carbonation is 1 bar for one week at 3–5 °C with the gas connected the whole time.
