Duofiller Core (G3) – automatic can filler with CO2 purging
Duofiller is an automatic can filler that purges the cans with CO2 and fills them to the same level every time. It suits advanced homebrewers and small breweries who want to make canning easier than with manual filling methods. With two filling heads, one can is filled while the lid is seamed on the other, so one person can operate it alone. Duofiller works with both carbonated and uncarbonated beer, and is developed and manufactured in Norway.
How Duofiller works
Press the button and Duofiller starts by purging the can with CO2 to displace the oxygen, keeping the beer's contact with oxygen to a minimum. Purge time is adjustable from 0 to 10 seconds. It then fills the can automatically. A sensor detects the liquid level with millimetre precision and stops filling at the pre-programmed level, regardless of how much foam is on top. Tests show that beer filled with Duofiller has a very low oxygen content and therefore good shelf life.
Duofiller is easy to program in advance, and the fill volume can be fine-tuned as you go. The third generation (G3) is more than twice as fast as the first generation at 1 bar in the keg.

You also need
- A standard ball lock beer disconnect with 1/4" MFL threads for the beer hose
- CO2 hose (3/16" outer diameter) and a separate CO2 regulator for purging that can deliver approx. 0.1–0.2 bar. If you don't have a dedicated regulator, you can split the CO2 line with a splitter and add an inline regulator to reduce the pressure to the Duofiller.
- If you can't use an EU plug, a suitable plug adapter or a local 12 V DC power supply (minimum 2 A / 24 W, 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug, centre positive)

Frequently asked questions about Duofiller
Which cans does Duofiller fit?
All standard 0.33, 0.4 and 0.5 litre cans. The G3 can also fill most bottles up to 500 ml.
Do I need a separate CO2 regulator?
Purging needs approx. 0.1–0.2 bar. Use a separate regulator, or split the CO2 line with a splitter and an inline regulator that reduces the pressure.
Why does Duofiller purge the can with CO2?
CO2 displaces the oxygen in the can before filling. That gives low oxygen content in the beer, which keeps its flavour longer.
Can one person can alone?
Yes. With two filling heads, one can is filled while you seam the lid on the previous one.
