Fermentation bucket 33L with spigot and lid
A 33 litre fermentation bucket with spigot and lid, made from food-grade PP plastic. The bucket is graduated in litres and the lid has a hole for an airlock grommet. The size suits 20–25 litres of beer, cider or wine, including a 20 litre Fresh Wort Kit, and leaves plenty of room for foam during peak fermentation.
A rubber grommet and airlock are not included and must be bought separately.

Frequently asked questions about the 33L fermentation bucket
Is an airlock included?
No. The airlock and rubber grommet are sold separately. The grommet goes in the hole in the lid and the airlock in the grommet.
Does the bucket suit a Fresh Wort Kit?
Yes. A Fresh Wort Kit is 20 litres of finished wort that you pour straight into the bucket, and 33 litres leaves plenty of room for foam during fermentation. No water should be added to the wort.
Will the bucket fit in a fermentation chamber?
Yes. The Fercubator (Ferminator) Basic is designed for, among others, a 33L fermenter.
How do I keep the bucket clean?
Clean the bucket right after use and sanitize it before the next brew. Plastic gets scratches where bacteria can hide, so the bucket should be replaced regularly, and always if you see mould.
