A shank is needed when the tap is mounted without a tap tower, for example through a fridge door, a wall or a dispensing cabinet. This shank from Krome Dispense is 8 cm long and has a John Guest push-in fitting for beer line with a 3/8" outside diameter. You connect the beer line directly, without a hose clamp.
The shank is made of chrome-plated brass.
