Quick disconnect female 1/2" FPT – stainless quick disconnect for brewing hoses
Female quick disconnect with 1/2" FPT threads, made of 304 stainless steel. FPT means female pipe threads to the American NPT standard, so the fitting screws onto a nipple, pump or valve with male 1/2" NPT threads. Together with a male quick disconnect it gives a fast, secure connection that makes it easy to move hoses between kettle, pump and chiller.

What does the female part connect to?
A male quick disconnect in the same system, for example a male with a hose barb on the hose and a female with FPT threads on the equipment.

How do I get the threads to seal?
Wrap thread tape around the male threads before screwing the parts together.
