John Guest 1/4" – 1/4" Stem Elbow – elbow with stem
The John Guest 1/4" – 1/4" Stem Elbow is a 90-degree elbow with a 1/4" stem at one end and a push-fit connection for 1/4" OD tube at the other. The stem pushes into a 1/4" John Guest fitting, and the tube pushes into the other end. This gives you a right angle straight out of a fitting without bending the tube.
John Guest push-fit fittings are made for quick and secure connection of tubes and pipes for liquid and gas under pressure. The fittings are food grade.

What is the difference between a stem and a tube connection?
The stem is a smooth tube that pushes into another John Guest fitting just like a tube. The tube connection is the push-fit end itself, where the tube is inserted.
How do I disconnect the tube?
Push the collet in towards the fitting and pull the tube out at the same time. Make sure the line is depressurised first.
Can I use Star San on John Guest fittings?
Acid-based sanitizers can make plastic parts brittle over time. Rinse the fittings with clean water after using Star San.
