John Guest adapter 5/16" – 1/4" FFL – from tubing to threaded ball lock disconnect
This adapter connects tubing with a 5/16" outer diameter to a 1/4" FFL thread. It fits directly on ball lock disconnects with 1/4" MFL threads, so you can connect the beer or gas line straight to the disconnect without a hose clamp.

What do FFL and MFL mean?
FFL stands for female flare, a female thread. MFL is male flare, a male thread. The FFL adapter screws onto a fitting with MFL threads, such as a ball lock disconnect.
Which tubing fits?
Tubing with a 5/16" (8 mm) outer diameter, such as LDPE tubing. Cut the tubing straight and push it fully into the fitting.
Can I use the adapter for both beer and gas?
Yes. John Guest fittings are made for both liquid and gas under pressure.
