Tap in 316 stainless steel that fits our 55-litre oak barrel. With a tap on the barrel you can draw samples and finished beer, wine or spirits straight from the barrel. The tap requires a 16 mm hole in the barrel.

Do I need to drill a hole in the barrel?
Yes. The tap requires a drilled 16 mm hole. Drill before filling the barrel, and make sure the hole is clean and straight so the tap seals well.
Why 316 stainless steel?
316 stainless steel resists acid better than 304, which makes it well suited to wine and beer that spend a long time in the barrel.
