Lindr AS-40 Green Line – glycol chiller with pump for fermenters
The AS-40 from Lindr is a compact glycol chiller with a built-in pump and a cooling capacity of 0.3 kW. It is suited to temperature control of smaller fermenters, for example from Speidel, Brewtools and Ss Brewtech, up to approx. 200 litres in total.
The chiller has a digital thermostat and an agitator with pump. In addition to conventional water cooling with an ice bank, you can use a mixture of water and glycol. This lets you set the cooling temperature down to −6 °C without risk of freezing.
How to connect it
The chiller can be used with a solenoid valve, bypass and temperature controller. Or keep it simple: set the desired temperature on the chiller and connect one fermenter directly, without a solenoid valve. You then do not need a bypass on the line either, as the liquid always returns to the chiller.

How cold can it go?
With a water and glycol mixture the cooling temperature can be set down to −6 °C without risk of freezing. This also makes cold crashing possible.
Do I need a solenoid valve?
Not for one tank. Just set the temperature on the chiller and connect the tank directly. For several tanks at different temperatures, use a solenoid valve, bypass and temperature controller.
Can the AS-40 heat?
No. The AS-40 is cooling only.
